The Largo is called the complex of buildings and architectural ensemble in downtown of Sofia, architectural designed and built in the 1950s with the intention to become the city`s new representative center. The ensemble is centered around Independence Square. Today these constructions are the ideal examples of Socialist Classicism architecture but also one of the main landmarks of Sofia.

The Building of Largo area are used from many national institutions as the Council of Ministers of Bulgaria, the Prime-minister's Office, the President`s Office, etc. Sometimes we call it "The triangle of the power".
